This is how you convince with your acceptance speech
Whether a private occasion or in front of a gathered crowd of employees or colleagues, it's always important to remain authentic as a speaker. Avoid exaggerating or over-enthusiasm. A thank you speech comes across well when it's sincere, and your authenticity will come through in how you personalise it – the individuals you name and thank, or your chosen anecdotes. But choose your anecdotes or quotes wisely, and remember to consider how they might impact your listeners (especially business partners!).
